The Helderberg Rod & Gun Club Game Dinner will be held at the Club on Sunday, April 28, 2024. We will be starting at 1:00 pm and will begin eating at approximately 1:30 pm. Family members, guests and friends are welcome.
Please bring a favorite dish to share for about 35-40 people buffet style. It can be a game dish (venison, wild turkey, rabbit, pheasant, grouse), fish dish (fried or baked fish, clam, or fish chowder) or other meat dish (turkey, ham, chicken, pork), entrée (scalloped potatoes, salt potatoes, lasagna, baked beans, mac & cheese), side dish (chili, soup), appetizers, or dessert. The club will provide table settings, salads, coffee, canned soda, and bottled water. You may bring your own alcoholic beverages or other bottled drinks. We will have electrical plug-ins for crock pots and warmers.
If you are planning to come to the dinner, please contact Carol Whaley or Terry Morseman to let us know how many are coming in your party and what food item(s) you would like to bring or ask what type of food may be needed. Please contact Carol or Terry by April 21st so we can have an approximate number of attendees to plan for table settings, etc.

As in past years, following the dinner, we will have an auction of donated useful items with the proceeds going to the Club’s DEC Summer Youth Environmental Education Camp Fund. Please bring items you would like to donate for the auction with you to the dinner and some extra money for your auction tickets. Items you bring that are not won in the auction drawings must be taken back home with you. We always have an entertaining time with this auction, and it is for a great cause – sponsoring kids to summer environmental education camps.
The Game Dinner is always a great opportunity to get out for a cabin fever break. The food is delicious, and the company is fantastic. Come meet your fellow club members, their families, and friends, and have a great afternoon of feasting and entertainment. See you there!
